UnclogCo

Blocked drain? We clear it, find the cause and show you the proof.

UnclogCo technicians unblock sinks, toilets, showers, floor drains and main sewer lines, then run a camera through the pipe so you can see it is clear. You get a fixed price before we start and a short written report when we finish.

Where is the water stopping?

Most calls start with one fixture that drains slowly, gurgles or smells. Pick the one that sounds like yours to see how we deal with it, what usually causes it and how long the visit tends to take.

If more than one fixture is affected at the same time, the blockage is usually further down the line. That is a job for a camera inspection, not a plunger.

Kitchen sink

Fat, food scraps and soap scum set hard inside the trap and the first few metres of pipe.

Toilet

Wipes, sanitary products and excess paper lodge in the bend or further down the soil pipe.

Shower and bath

Hair binds with soap residue into a mat that slows the water a little more every week.

Floor drain

Silt, grit and debris wash into floor gullies in bathrooms, balconies, kitchens and car parks.

Main sewer line

Several fixtures backing up at once points to a blockage, collapse or root intrusion in the main line.

Grease trap

Commercial kitchens need traps pumped and cleaned on a schedule before they overflow or smell.

Four ways we get drains working again

Every drain is different, so we pick the method after we have looked, not before. These are the four services behind almost every job we do.

A cleared drain is only half the job. Knowing why it blocked is the other half.

A blockage that keeps coming back is telling you something. It might be a dip in the pipe where waste settles, a joint that has shifted, roots finding their way in, or simply a habit in the kitchen. Clearing it again and again costs more than fixing the cause once.

That is why we look before we leave. On larger jobs we run a camera through the line after clearing it and talk you through what we saw. If the pipe is sound, you will know. If it needs attention, you will see exactly where and why, with no pressure to book anything on the spot.

How a visit works

Four steps from your call to a drain that flows. No vague time windows and no work you have not agreed to.

Step 1

Tell us what is happening

Call or send the form. We ask which fixtures are affected, how long it has been happening and whether water is backing up right now.

Step 2

We confirm a time and a price range

Our dispatch desk books a slot that suits you and explains what the visit is likely to involve before anyone arrives.

Step 3

Diagnose, quote, then clear

The technician finds the blockage, gives you a fixed price, and only starts once you say yes. Floors and fittings are protected.

Step 4

Test, show and tidy up

We run water through every affected outlet, show you the result and leave the area as clean as we found it.

For homes and for businesses

The pipes are the same. The pressure is not. A family needs the bathroom back tonight; a restaurant needs the kitchen running before service. We plan each visit around that.

Homes and residential buildings

Kitchen sinks, toilets, showers, balcony and roof drains, and the shared lines in apartment blocks. We work cleanly, explain what we are doing and leave you with simple tips to stop it happening again.

Restaurants, offices and facilities

Commercial kitchens, office washrooms, hotels, clinics, schools and shops. Visits can be booked before opening or after closing, and every job comes with a record you can file for your maintenance log.

Questions people ask before booking

Straight answers to the things we hear most on the phone. If yours is not here, our dispatch desk is happy to talk it through.

Yes. The technician diagnoses the problem first and gives you a fixed price for the work. Nothing starts until you agree. If something unexpected turns up halfway through, we stop and explain before going any further.

We advise against them. Caustic cleaners rarely shift a solid blockage, they can damage older pipes and seals, and they make the job more hazardous for whoever has to open the line afterwards. Mechanical clearing is safer and more reliable.

A single sink, shower or toilet blockage is usually cleared in under an hour. Main line blockages, jetting and camera inspections take longer, and we will give you a realistic estimate when you book.

We lay protective sheets, wear shoe covers indoors and bring our own cleaning materials. When we leave, the work area should look the way it did before we arrived, minus the standing water.

Yes. Many commercial kitchens and apartment buildings book us monthly or quarterly. Scheduled cleaning costs less than emergency call-outs and keeps the drains from reaching the point of overflowing.

Water backing up right now?

Turn off any running taps, stop using the affected fixtures and call us. We will tell you what to do while a technician is on the way.
