The terms that apply when you use our website or book UnclogCo to clear, clean, inspect or maintain your drains. Please read them before booking.
These terms and conditions apply to every service provided by UnclogCo and to use of the website unclogco.com. By booking a service, approving a quote or using the website, you agree to these terms. If anything in a written quote or service agreement differs from these terms, the quote or agreement takes priority for that job.
We provide drain unblocking, CCTV drain inspection, high-pressure drain jetting, grease trap cleaning and planned drain maintenance for residential and commercial properties. We do not carry out structural excavation, building work or gas and electrical work. Where a job needs a specialist we will tell you, but we are not responsible for work done by others.
You can book by phone, email or the request form on our website. A booking is confirmed when we agree a date and time slot with you. When booking, please give us accurate information about the problem, the property and how to access it. If the information is materially wrong, the visit may take longer or cost more than expected, or we may need to rebook.
You must be the owner or occupier of the property, or have their permission, to book work there.
When you book, we may give you a price range and confirm any diagnosis or call-out charge. On site, the technician diagnoses the problem and gives you a fixed price for the agreed work. Work starts only after you approve that price.
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, payment is due when the work is completed. We accept cash, mobile payments and bank transfer. Commercial customers with an agreed account are invoiced and must pay within the period shown on the invoice. We may charge for reasonable costs of recovering overdue amounts.
We carry out all work with reasonable care and skill, using methods and equipment suitable for the drain. We protect the immediate work area, but drain work can involve dirty water, odours and noise for a limited time. We will not use chemical drain cleaners. If we believe a method could damage your pipes, we will explain the risk and agree the approach with you first.
Drains are hidden and their condition is not always known before work starts. You accept that:
We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our failure to carry out the work with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by pre-existing defects, by information you gave us that was inaccurate, by work carried out by others, or by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
If you believe our work has caused damage, tell us as soon as possible and before arranging repairs, so we have a fair chance to inspect it.
Cancellation, rescheduling, refund and return visit arrangements are set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not try to gain unauthorised access to it, interfere with its operation or use the forms to send spam or harmful content. If you are unhappy with any part of our service, contact us at contact@unclogco.com or on +8801894 615871. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly, look into it and respond with what we will do. Most issues are resolved quickly once we understand what went wrong.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on this page on the date of your booking applies to that booking. These terms are governed by the laws that apply where UnclogCo is registered, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction, unless the law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
