Booking, pricing, what happens on the day, and how to keep drains clear afterwards. If your question is not here, call the dispatch desk or send us a message and we will get back to you.
Call either of our numbers or fill in the request form on the contact page. We call you back to confirm the details, agree a time and explain what the visit is likely to involve.
It depends on the day and the job. We prioritise situations where water is backing up or overflowing. When you call, we give you an honest time slot rather than a promise we cannot keep.
Someone needs to let the technician in, show them the problem and approve the quote. If you cannot stay for the whole job, let us know and we will arrange how to hand the property back.
Yes, for commercial customers in particular. Restaurants and offices often prefer early morning or late evening visits. Ask when you book and we will see what we can arrange.
Two drains that look identical from above can be completely different below. A quote given without seeing the problem is a guess. We give a price range when you book and a fixed price once the technician has diagnosed the problem.
Only the diagnosis or call-out charge we agree when booking. If you decline the quoted work, you pay that charge and nothing more.
Cash, mobile payments and bank transfer. Commercial customers on maintenance schedules can be invoiced monthly by agreement.
Not without your agreement. If the technician finds something outside the agreed scope, they stop, explain what they have found and give you a separate price. You decide whether to go ahead.
Most single-fixture blockages are cleared in under an hour. Main line clearing, jetting, grease trap cleaning and camera surveys take longer. We give you an estimate when you book.
We lay protective sheets, wear shoe covers indoors and clean up when we finish. Drain work can involve dirty water, but it stays on our sheets and in our containers, not on your floor.
Occasionally a pipe is collapsed or badly damaged and cannot be cleared from inside. In that case we explain what we found, show you camera footage where possible and tell you what repair is needed. You are not charged for clearing work that was not completed.
No. Caustic and acid drain cleaners rarely clear solid blockages, can damage pipes and seals, and create a hazard for anyone who has to open the drain afterwards. We clear drains mechanically or with water.
Correctly set jetting is safe for drains in sound condition. If we suspect a pipe is damaged, we run a camera through it first and discuss the findings with you before using pressure.
Yes. The camera head is pushed gently along the pipe and does not apply pressure to the walls. It is one of the least invasive ways to check an older drain.
Yes. Grease trap cleaning, kitchen line jetting and washroom drain servicing make up a large part of our commercial work. We schedule visits around service times.
Every visit is logged with the date, work carried out and condition notes. Commercial customers receive a copy after each visit and can request a full history.
We offer planned maintenance schedules for kitchens, apartment buildings, offices and facilities. Visit frequency is agreed after an initial assessment.
Call us as soon as you notice it. If it is the same blockage within the period covered by our refund and cancellation policy, we come back to assess it. If it is a new problem, we will explain the difference and quote as usual.
Fit strainers, keep fat and oil out of sinks, flush only toilet paper and run water through rarely used drains. For busy buildings, a scheduled jetting or inspection visit once or twice a year prevents most emergencies.
You receive a short written summary after every visit. Camera inspections also include the recording and still images of anything worth noting.
Our dispatch desk handles questions as well as bookings. Call, email or send the request form and you will hear back from a real person who knows drains.
