Drain cleaning and unblocking services

Four core services cover nearly every drain problem in homes and commercial buildings. We start every visit by finding out what is actually wrong, then use the method that fixes it with the least disruption.

Technician clearing a blocked drain with a hand cable

Drain unblocking

Blocked sinks, toilets, showers, baths, floor gullies and outside drains cleared with hand augers, motorised cables or jetting, depending on what is in the way.

Technician checking a bathroom floor drain line with an inspection device

CCTV drain inspection

A camera survey of your drain line showing cracks, root intrusion, displaced joints, sagging sections and build-up, with a recording and written summary.

Worker using a high-pressure water jet to clean a facility floor and drain

High-pressure jetting

Water at high pressure scours grease, scale, silt and roots from the full width of the pipe, restoring flow along the entire run instead of punching a single hole through.

Chef washing up at a stainless steel commercial kitchen sink

Grease trap cleaning

Scheduled cleaning of grease traps and interceptors for restaurants, hotels, canteens and food production, with a service record after every visit.

Not sure which service you need?

Start with the symptom. This quick guide matches the most common problems to the service that usually solves them. If you are still unsure, describe it to our dispatch desk and we will point you in the right direction.

Floor drain in a tiled bathroom

One sink, shower or toilet is slow or blocked

Several fixtures gurgle or back up at the same time

The same drain blocks again every few weeks

Bad smell from a floor drain or yard gully

Buying, renovating or extending a property

Commercial kitchen with grease build-up or odours

Outdoor drains full of silt, leaves or grit

Water rising from a floor gully or manhole

Planned drain maintenance

Emergency call-outs are the most expensive way to look after drains. For apartment buildings, offices, schools and commercial kitchens, a planned maintenance visit once or several times a year keeps lines clear, spots small defects early and gives facility managers a written record of every visit.

We agree a schedule that suits the building, send a reminder before each visit and keep a running log of what was cleaned, what was inspected and anything that needs attention.
